The service, supported by local doctors, provides urgent care for their patients in South East Dublin and North Wicklow.
The service operates from 5.30 pm through 8 am Monday to Friday, and 24 hours Saturday, Sunday and all bank and public holidays.
The post holder will work as part of a team in the GP Out of Hours Services, taking patient’s details in a sympathetic and understanding manner and ensure that patients are handled efficiently, effectively and in a manner that preserves their dignity and confidentiality.
Using our Clinical IT System, the post holder will prioritise incoming telephone calls from patients requesting out of hours services, setting response times for our Nurse Triage services. To make outgoing calls as required, efficiently passing messages using IT equipment, telephone systems or other means and to undertake all administrative duties as appropriate.

- Demonstrate good customer service.
